How can I get help?
We work on a referral basis. Many of our referrals come from an organisation called Here to help U, which connects people in need to the appropriate community provider.
We also have relationships with more community groups and organisations throughout Taupō that refer people to us. These include schools, social workers, budget advisers, and counselling services.

Once referred, we provide tailored food and grocery support. In general, we aim to provide four days’ food for each person in the household. We also try our best to cater to any special dietary requirements and cultural needs.

Once clients have received food support four times within a 12-month period, they are referred to one of our financial mentoring services for free support. These services can continue to refer the client back to us for more support if needed.
